fisioterapia: una herramienta complementaria para la evaluaci\u00f3n funcional<\/h4><p>La ecograf\u00eda es una t\u00e9cnica de imagen que utiliza <strong>ultrasonidos<\/strong> para crear im\u00e1genes bidimensionales o tridimensionales de diversas estructuras del cuerpo, tales como <strong>m\u00fasculos, tendones, ligamentos, v\u00edsceras, vasos sangu\u00edneos y nervios.<\/strong><\/p><p>En fisioterapia, su aplicaci\u00f3n (RUSI) es diferente a la que se utiliza en medicina (USI), ya que no se busca un <strong>diagn\u00f3stico m\u00e9dico<\/strong>, sino una <strong>evaluaci\u00f3n funcional<\/strong> de la anatom\u00eda y del movimiento de las estructuras.<\/p><p>La ecograf\u00eda se realiza mediante un transductor, un peque\u00f1o instrumento que emite ondas de ultrasonidos hacia la zona corporal a examinar.
